The Housing Authority of Vanceburg (HAOV) is a non- profit organization that provides affordable housing to low-income families and individuals in Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Who is Eligible for HAV Housing?
The eligibility requirements for admission into public housing are: Must have income within low-income limit set by HUD each year; income cannot exceed 80% of the median income for Lewis County, meet citizenship/eligible immigrants criteria, provide documentation of Social Security numbers for all members of the household, sign consent authorization documents, and meet all screening criteria.
How to Apply for HAV Housing
To apply for public housing assistance thru HAOV, you must complete an application along with all of the required documentation. You can obtain an application packet by visiting the HAOV office located at 104 White Street, Vanceburg, KY 41179. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.
